On Saturday, March 1, former Ardrey Kell High School standouts Cade Sabin and Corbin Mickle’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 19-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Southern Virginia Knights.
The game took place at Harvey-Dryden Field. This was their second matchup against the Knights this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Hampden-Sydney Tigers.
