Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation announced on Mar. 9 that it has applied for the Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is inviting feedback from patients, family members, staff, and other interested parties.
The Magnet Recognition Program is considered the highest credential a healthcare organization can achieve for nursing excellence. The program recognizes organizations that meet stringent, evidence-based standards in patient care delivery.
According to Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation, comments regarding its application can be submitted by email or direct mail until April 17, 2026. All comments will remain confidential and will not be shared with the organization. Anonymous written comments should be sent to the Magnet Program Office at the American Nurses Association in Silver Spring, Maryland, or emailed to magnet@ana.org.
Magnet recognition highlights the important role nurses play in improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. The program acknowledges nurses’ contributions across all healthcare settings and populations worldwide.
