The NFL combine has concluded, and teams, including the Carolina Panthers, are preparing for the upcoming draft with new information on prospects. The Panthers hold the 19th overall pick this year, opening up a range of options as mock drafts increase in frequency ahead of Pro Days.

According to recent projections from media outlets, the Panthers have seven selections in this year’s draft. Tight end Kenyon Sadiq from Oregon is one possible pick. Sadiq could provide quarterback Bryce Young with another strong downfield target alongside Tetairoa McMillan. Last season, tight ends J.T. Sanders and Tommy Tremble combined for three touchdowns, while Sadiq scored eight in 2025. His addition could help improve an offense that ranked 24th in red-zone efficiency.

Another position under consideration is offensive tackle. Spencer Fano from Utah is noted as a candidate due to left tackle Ikem Ekwonu’s knee injury during the playoffs. While some expect the team to address pass rusher needs through free agency or trades, Fano’s versatility across all five offensive line positions offers flexibility as Ekwonu recovers.

Edge rusher Zion Young from Missouri is recognized more for his run defense than pass rushing but brings intensity and a strong work ethic praised by coaches at Missouri.

Linebacker CJ Allen from Georgia did not participate in combine testing but remains viewed as a promising three-down linebacker with potential to take on significant responsibility early in his career.

Kadyn Proctor from Alabama is another offensive tackle mentioned despite it not being the top positional need for Carolina. With uncertainty around Ekwonu’s recovery and contract status, Proctor’s physical abilities make him a notable option.

The Carolina Panthers have secured multiple division titles and playoff appearances over their history, according to their official website. The team also supports community outreach and philanthropy throughout North and South Carolina while emphasizing a championship culture (source). Home games are played in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina (source), and fans can access various ticketing options for games (source).

As the draft approaches, updates will continue at Panthers.com regarding selections and team news.
