On Saturday, March 22, former Charlotte Catholic High School standout Matt Sermeno’s current college team, the Georgian Court Lions, won 22-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Bloomfield Bears.

The game took place at West Side Park. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 1 p.m. at FDR Park against Holy Family Tigers.
