On Friday, Feb. 14, former Charlotte Catholic High School standout Mitchell Salvino’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Marist Red Foxes.
The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Red Foxes this season.
The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. at David F. Couch Ballpark against LIU Sharks.
