On Tuesday, April 8, former Charlotte Catholic High School standout Mitchell Salvino’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
