Charlotte FC is set to face Orlando City SC at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This match follows a challenging five-game away series for Charlotte and marks their eighth regular-season meeting with Orlando. Historically, Orlando has dominated the series with a record of 4-1-2 against Charlotte.

The game will kick off at 7:15 p.m. ET and can be viewed on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV and FS1. For radio listeners, broadcasts are available on WFNZ 92.7 FM in English and WOLS 106.1 FM in Spanish.

Charlotte FC aims to leverage their strong home performance this season, boasting a record of six wins and two losses at Bank of America Stadium. Midfielder Pep Biel leads the team with 14 goal contributions this season, including eight assists. Forward Idan Toklomati has also been pivotal, scoring in consecutive matches during striker Patrick Agyemang’s absence.

However, Charlotte will face challenges without key players such as Wilfried Zaha due to suspension from yellow card accumulation, and both Patrick Agyemang and defender Tim Ream who are on international duty with the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Head Coach Dean Smith commented on the upcoming match: “We’ve played them so many times, we know what we’re coming up against… We know we can cause them problems, but we know they’ve got some quality as well.”

With several home games scheduled for July, Charlotte FC looks to capitalize on their strong home form in pursuit of playoff success.
