Charlotte FC has been slated to compete against North Carolina FC in the Round of 32 of this year’s U.S. Open Cup. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. The team journeyed to Cary, NC earlier this year for a preseason clash against NCFC.

Charlotte finds itself in the ‘Clint Dempsey Group’, alongside D.C. United, Charleston Battery, and NCFC. The hosting priority has been determined, and should Charlotte FC progress, their next game will be against the winner of the Charleston vs. D.C. United match.
