Charlotte FC secured a victory against the Columbus Crew with a 3-2 scoreline, showcasing a strong attacking performance at home. The match began with Charlotte displaying early promise, but it was Columbus who struck first. Ibrahim Aliyu scored from a header, giving Columbus an initial lead.

Charlotte responded quickly, with Patrick Agyemang equalizing four minutes later through a header assisted by Pep Biel. Agyemang then doubled his tally five minutes later, scoring from a pass by Wilfried Zaha.

The second half saw continued dominance from Charlotte, but Columbus managed to level the score again. Malte Amundsen capitalized on a rebound to make it 2-2 after confirmation from VAR that he was onside.

Charlotte regained the lead ten minutes later when Zaha set up Biel for the decisive goal. Despite creating several chances, Charlotte ended the game with three goals.
