On Tuesday, April 8, former Charlotte Christian School standout Drew Beard, Jr.’s current college team, the James Madison Dukes, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.

The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The Dukes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against Troy Trojans.
