On Tuesday, April 8, former Providence High School standout Tommy Walker’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Carolina Catamounts.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Catamounts this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Marshall Thundering Herd.
