On Wednesday, April 30, former Charlotte Christian School standout Mary Caroline Eaton’s current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Liberty Lady Flames.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Lady Flames this season.

The Leagues Cup Organizing Committee has released the official schedule for the 2026 tournament, which will run from August 4 to September 6 and, for the first time, include matches in Mexico.
Charlotte FC will face Austin FC in a Major League Soccer match scheduled for March 6, 2026.
Charlotte FC will host Austin FC on Saturday, March 7, with kickoff scheduled for 7:40 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
