The Carolina Panthers have released their first unofficial depth chart for the 2025 season ahead of their preseason opener against Cleveland on Friday.
According to the team, there are no major surprises in the lineup, which reflects what has been observed during training camp so far.
On offense, Tetairoa McMillan, Adam Thielen, and Xavier Legette are named as starting wide receivers. The players listed behind them are David Moore, Hunter Renfrow, and Jalen Coker. Veteran Austin Corbett is currently listed as the starting center. However, he continues to compete with Cade Mays for the position, with both alternating first-team reps throughout camp.
Defensively, Derrick Brown and A’Shawn Robinson are listed as starters at defensive end while Bobby Brown III is set at defensive tackle. Tershawn Wharton appears behind Robinson on the chart. At outside linebacker, Patrick Jones II and D.J. Wonnum hold starting spots; Princely Umanmielen is behind Jones II while Nic Scourton and DJ Johnson back up Wonnum.
At safety positions, Tre’von Moehrig and Nick Scott are marked as starters with Demani Richardson and Lathan Ransom listed as backups. For special teams, veteran Matthew Wright is currently ahead of rookie Ryan Fitzgerald in the kicker competition; both have alternated days during camp.
