The Carolina Panthers have made roster changes ahead of their upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys. The team elevated cornerback Keion Crossen and offensive lineman Brandon Walton from the practice squad to add depth for this week’s matchup.

Brandon Walton’s elevation marks his third and final one for the season. Under league rules, if he is to play in another game this year, he must be signed to the active 53-man roster. Keion Crossen, known for his contributions on special teams, was recently added to the practice squad earlier in the week.

With starting right tackle Taylor Moton sidelined due to an elbow injury, Yosh Nijman is expected to fill in at that position. The Panthers currently have eight offensive linemen on their main roster, making Walton’s presence necessary for additional coverage.

Wide receiver Jalen Coker has been downgraded to out on the team’s injury report. He began practicing this week as part of his 21-day window to return from injured reserve but will not be activated in time for this week’s game. He must be officially added to the 53-man roster before participating in future games.
