Bryce Young and several members of the Carolina Panthers’ receiving corps gathered in Minnesota this week for a throwing session. The gathering took place ahead of the holiday weekend and included players such as Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette, Tetairoa McMillan, Ja’Tavion Sanders, David Moore, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Kobe Hudson. The session was led by Ryan Englebert of ETS Sports Performance at a local high school.

Adam Thielen, whose offseason home is in Minnesota, has been hosting events through his Thielen Foundation throughout the summer. He expressed optimism about the depth of the Panthers’ receiving corps this year. “I think for the first time here since I’ve been here you look around the room and I don’t know who’s going to make the team, and that’s a great thing,” Thielen said during mandatory minicamp. He added that competition among players raises both individual performance and overall team capability.

The Panthers are scheduled to return for training camp on July 23.
