The Carolina Panthers have retained wide receivers Jalen Coker and Brycen Tremayne for the 2026 season by placing exclusive rights free agent tenders on both players. This move ensures that both Coker and Tremayne, who have fewer than three years of NFL experience, will remain with the team and cannot negotiate with other franchises.

Jalen Coker played a significant role last season, finishing second on the team with 394 receiving yards and recording three touchdowns. He became a reliable target late in the year, supporting offensive rookie of the year Tetairoa McMillan during the team’s playoff push. Over the final five games, Coker made 19 catches for 244 yards and three touchdowns. In the wild card game against the Rams, he contributed nine catches for 134 yards and a touchdown. Coker missed the first six games due to a quad injury but returned to play in 11 games as an undrafted rookie from Holy Cross, ending his season with 32 receptions for 478 yards and two touchdowns.

Brycen Tremayne was recognized as one of the top special teams contributors last year, ranking second on the team with 15 special teams tackles. He also added 14 receptions for 160 yards when called upon for offensive duties.

The Panthers continue to focus on building their roster while maintaining a championship culture and engaging in community outreach throughout North and South Carolina. The organization is known for its division titles and playoff appearances, home games at Bank of America Stadium in downtown Charlotte, and ongoing philanthropic efforts across the region (https://www.panthers.com/).
