The Carolina Panthers have adjusted their wide receiver lineup ahead of Tuesday’s practice. The team announced the signing of rookie Ja’seem Reed and the release of veteran Dan Chisena.

Reed, who previously participated in the Cleveland Browns’ camp earlier this year, is an undrafted rookie from the University of San Diego. Last season, he recorded 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and 12 touchdowns. Reed had a workout with the Panthers on Monday before being signed.

Dan Chisena joined the Panthers’ practice squad in October and was promoted to the active roster in December. Known primarily for his special teams contributions, Chisena caught his first three NFL passes last season. He began training camp on the physically unable to perform list.
