Charlotte FC has announced that forward Patrick Agyemang has been selected for the 2025 MLS All-Star Team. This marks a milestone as he becomes the club’s first player to receive such an honor. Agyemang was chosen by Commissioner Don Garber for the match, which will take place on July 23 in Austin against Liga MX’s All-Stars.

The game will be broadcast live in English, Spanish, and French on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Agyemang is among seven players currently with the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) at the 2025 Gold Cup who have been named as MLS All-Stars. So far in 2025, he has scored eight goals for Charlotte FC and five for the USMNT.

Agyemang was drafted 12th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft. He made an immediate impact by scoring ten goals and assisting three times in eleven matches for Crown Legacy FC, Charlotte FC’s MLS NEXT Pro team. His performances led to his integration into Charlotte’s first team.

Despite limited playtime of 227 minutes during the 2023 regular season and playoffs, he managed to score two goals, including one in the MLS Cup Playoffs. In his first full season in MLS in 2024, Agyemang recorded ten goals and three assists across all competitions.

His consistent performance earned him a call-up to the national team in January 2025. Throughout this year, Agyemang has maintained his form with five goals for the USMNT and eight goals with two assists for Charlotte FC over eighteen games.

The full roster of the 2025 MLS All-Star Team includes goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards, and wingers. The event at Q2 Stadium will also feature an All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T. It will be accessible free of charge to viewers in over one hundred countries through Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass.

Fans interested can subscribe to MLS Season Pass for $69 or opt for a seasonal subscription at $59 if they are already Apple TV+ subscribers. This can be done via various devices including smart TVs and streaming platforms through tv.apple.com.
