Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 2.
Congratulations to the 28 CMPD college interns who completed 8-weeks of learning the various work duties and responsibilities of sworn law enforcement personnel.
Good luck this school year. We can't wait for you to one day join us as officers.
