University of North Carolina Charlotte issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
The Office of Urban Research and Community Engagement will host a virtual UNC Charlotte Engaged Scholarship Symposium on Thursday, Nov. 11. This event will explore how the University will help chart a new part for the city of Charlotte, specifically, how does UNC Charlotte continue to form reciprocal teaching and research community partnerships to co-produce transformative solutions to the region's challenges.
The symposium will feature discussions and workshops hosted by UNC Charlotte’s award-winning engaged scholars in teaching and research, panel sessions and breakout conversations with community partners and a panel of nationally recognized engaged scholars from Research 1 institutions.
