October 2021: Home prices in Charlotte increased

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2021 in Charlotte rose by $61,500 while total sales decreased by 20.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2021, there were 1,375 homes sold, with a median sale price of $325,000 - a 23.3% increase over the $263,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,731 homes sold in Charlotte in October 2020.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for October 2021.
