Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
CMPD's Transportation Unit coordinated a Border to Border Operation with our Gaston County partners along Wilkinson Blvd. Officers from North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Belmont Police Department, Gastonia Police Department, & Gaston County Sheriff's Office assisted in this operation which resulted in 47 traffic stops, 82 violations, & 4 arrests. Please remember to "Click It or Ticket" this holiday season.
