Queens University of Charlotte recently issued the following announcement.
Brattonsville, SC slave descendants Margaret Parson-Willins and her cousin Wali Cathcart will join us again for an intimate conversation that will give us a peek into their life experiences during the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. They will discuss a number of topics including being a black business owner, playing in the Negro Baseball League, farming, and more.
