SESSIONS
- Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 6–7:30 p.m.: Holistic Health — Treating the Whole Person
Join Central Piedmont’s pharmacy technology Associate Professor/Program Chair Karen Garner for a discussion about holistic health and how it embodies the concept of “treating the whole person” – that is the mind, body, and spirit – in a quest for optimal health and wellness.
The primary goal of holistic medicine is to restore balance in one’s life and body so that you can remain healthy.
Non-conventional treatments to be discussed include: natural products, such as homeopathic medications, herbals, vitamins, minerals, essential oils, and other dietary supplements.
