Mark Jerrell, District 4, is serving his second term on the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. Commissioner Jerrell is focused ensuring that small businesses, have the resources needed to experience a high quality of life and success. Small business is the economic engine that drives our economy. Statistics show that 75% of residents work in a business with 20 or fewer employees. As a small business owner, he understands that it is imperative that our locally owned businesses are supported through adequate access to information and capital resources, which are needed to set the conditions for economic development and job creation.
