Excellent work by the CMPD’s South Division arresting serial larceny suspects. On October 20th, shortly before 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of 3 subjects breaking into cars in the 7900 block of Spindletop Place. Officers located the suspects in a white Honda HR-V.
The suspects were taken into custody without incident. The Honda had been reported stolen by its owner in June. Officers found stolen property inside the vehicle linked to larceny cases in Gastonia and the Westover, Steele Creek, University City, and Providence Divisions.
The suspects are identified as Nazir Lucky (DOB 03/14/1999), Ezyaah Ward (DOB 06/06/2000), and Adalberto De La Cruz (DOB 12/05/2003). Lucky has 33 pending charges, Ward has 5 pending charges and De La Cruz has 4 pending charges.
