More enforcement over the weekend of reckless driving/street racing groups in Charlotte. CMPD cited 5 drivers and confiscated 5 vehicles between March 3 - March 5. Another driver was arrested for DWI. Pictured are two vehicles that were confiscated and are being held as evidence.
Since February, officers have issued 59 citations, confiscated 17 vehicles, and made 6 arrests in enforcement related to reckless driving & street racing groups. The full statistics are listed below.
