USA Basketball announced today that Hornets guard/forward Brandon Miller has been named to the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s Select Team. Miller will train in Las Vegas from July 5-8 with the USA Basketball Men’s National Team as it prepares for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Miller averaged 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists across 74 games (68 starts) in his first NBA season, earning three Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month awards, an All-Rookie First Team selection, and a spot in the Rising Stars event at NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. The second overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Miller recorded 2.5 3-pointers per game and 184 total 3-pointers in the 2023-24 season, marks that rank third and fourth, respectively, among rookies in NBA history.
