CHARLOTTE — The Panthers have moved closer to full participation as they head into the first day of training camp practice. On Tuesday, the team activated two rookies from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list: wide receiver Jalen Coker and cornerback Chau Smith-Wade.
This activation leaves four players on the active/PUP list: D.J. Wonnum, Amaré Barno, Cam Sims, and Yosh Nijman. Additionally, running back Jonathon Brooks remains on the active/non-football injury (NFI) list. Players can be activated from either list at any time.
Practice is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning at Bank of America Stadium.
