Brad Idzik, the offensive coordinator for the Panthers, expressed gratitude during a recent press conference. The Panthers are preparing to face the league's top rushing attack this week. Defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero acknowledged that while the team has shown progress, more improvement is needed.

"We've played two good football teams the last two weeks," Evero stated. "We've played good enough in moments, but we all know that moments don't count. We've got to find a way to get those results."

Quarterback Bryce Young has been regaining his scrambling ability since returning as a starter in Week 8. According to Next Gen Stats, Young has scrambled 12 times over five games, ranking him 11th among quarterbacks during this period. He has gained 61 yards from these scrambles.

"You couple a lot of that stuff with decisiveness," said Brad Idzik about Young's performance. "He's doing a great job of staying in there when we ask him to and getting through his full progressions."

The upcoming game against the Eagles presents both challenges and opportunities for Evero as he reconnects with his mentor Vic Fangio, who is now the defensive coordinator for Philadelphia.

"Vic is, in my opinion, one of the best coaches in this league," Evero commented on Fangio's influence on his career.

Running back Raheem Blackshear is gaining attention in Pro Bowl voting due to his performance on kickoff returns. Special teams coordinator Tracy Smith praised Blackshear's work ethic and dedication.

"Raheem is an exceptionally hard worker," Smith noted. "He wants to be out there...his desire to be good matches with his work ethic."

Meanwhile, Jadeveon Clowney's participation in Sunday's game remains uncertain due to knee issues. Clowney shared that it was not caused by any specific incident but rather from playing over time.

"We'll see," Clowney remarked regarding his potential return. "I've been working all week to try to get back."

Clowney has recorded 33 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season so far.
