The Carolina Panthers are facing challenges with player availability as illness continues to affect the team. On Thursday, outside linebacker Cam Gill, left guard Damien Lewis, and nickel Chau Smith-Wade were unable to participate in practice due to illness.

In addition to those affected by illness, several players missed practice for other reasons. Jaycee Horn is dealing with a hip issue, Josey Jewell is contending with neck, head, and quadriceps injuries, while Taylor Moton and Jadeveon Clowney are both managing knee problems, with Clowney also having an elbow concern.

Three players were newly added to the injury report on Thursday as limited participants: Adam Thielen with a hamstring issue, Tommy Tremble with shoulder and back concerns, and Amaré Barno with a knee problem.

On a positive note for the Panthers, quarterback Bryce Young was listed as a full participant despite his hamstring issue. He was joined by Ikem Ekwonu (shoulder) and Cade Mays (illness) in fully participating in practice.

The team continues to prepare for upcoming games amidst these challenges.
