The Carolina Panthers have reinforced their safety position by re-signing Nick Scott. The 29-year-old player, who has been with the team since last year, agreed to a one-year contract on Saturday. Scott initially joined the Panthers after spending a year with the Cincinnati Bengals. Before that, he played four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and was part of their Super Bowl-winning team.

Scott's experience includes playing in ten games last season, starting in four of them on defense. His return to the Panthers adds depth to their safety lineup, which also features newly signed free agent Tre'von Moehrig and Demani Richardson.
