With a goal and two assists on Saturday, Charlotte FC midfielder Pep Biel has been recognized as the MLS Player of the Matchday.
Biel initiated the scoring in the 11th minute by converting a deflected cross that came his way. This marked his second goal of the season.
He delivered an impressive through ball to Brandt Bronico, setting up the Club's third goal in the 40th minute. Biel's second assist occurred during a strategic switch of play at 52 minutes, which enabled Kerwin Vargas to advance down the right side and finish decisively, securing the game's outcome.
Charlotte FC will next compete this Saturday when The Crown travels to Colorado on March 29 at 4:30 p.m. ET. The team will return home to Bank of America Stadium on April 5 to face Nashville SC at 2:30 p.m. ET. Tickets for this match are available at charlottefootballclub.com/tickets.
