On Monday, March 24, former Charlotte Catholic High School standout Blanca Thomas’ current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels won 58-47 against the West Virginia Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the West Virginia Mountaineers during the championship.

Blanca Thomas’ hometown is Charlotte and game position is center.
