We are just a third into the 2025 season, but Pep Biel has already been recognized by analysts across the league. Tom Bogert from GiveMeSport.com has included Biel in his ‘2025 Best XI So Far.’ In this lineup, Biel is placed alongside Carles Gil of New England Revolution and Sebastian Berhalter of Vancouver Whitecaps in the midfield.
Bogert explained his choice: “Pep Biel has been the driving force behind Charlotte’s best attacking moments this year, rather than star winter signing Wilfried Zaha as expected. Biel has three goals and six assists (contributing to half of the team’s goals) and leads MLS in expected assists. He has played a bunch as a winger but is a natural No. 10, which is why I’m putting him in the midfield here for the sake of the group.”
