On Sunday, April 13, former Providence High School standout Tommy Walker’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Marshall Thundering Herd.

The game took place at Kennedy Center Field. This was their third matchup against the Thundering Herd this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park against Duke Blue Devils.
