Charlotte FC Academy’s defender Wyatt Holt has been selected to participate in the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game, which is sponsored by Allstate. This event is set to highlight emerging soccer talent from North America in a match between East and West at Parmer Field, Austin, Texas. The game will take place on July 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be available for live streaming on MLS’ YouTube channel. Admission is free for fans who wish to attend.

Wyatt Holt, aged 16, has gained professional experience this season with Crown Legacy FC, having played in 11 matches so far in 2025. He became the second youngest player to debut for the club during a starting XI appearance against New York City FC II at the age of 15 years, nine months, and 29 days. Holt ranks second in minutes played this season for CLFC and maintains a passing accuracy of 90%.

The selection process included a total of 44 players after the end of the 2024-25 regular season and the completion of the 2025 MLS NEXT Cup. Eligibility required players to be born between 2008-2010 and have participated either in the MLS NEXT regular season or one of its key events such as MLS NEXT Fest or Generation adidas Cup.

During MLS All-Star Week, MLS NEXT along with Allstate will offer these young athletes unique experiences through various programming events. These include team training sessions and participation in activities like the All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T on July 22, followed by attendance at the MLS All-Star Game on July 23.
