CHARLOTTE — A year ago, Bryce Young and Aaron Rodgers stood to the side of the field during a joint practice between the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets, with high expectations ahead of them. Young, the No. 1 overall pick and former Heisman winner, and Rodgers, a four-time MVP expected to lead the Jets closer to the Super Bowl than they had been in years. The history of both quarterbacks' subsequent seasons has been well documented; neither path went as hoped.
