Atrium Health issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers recently honored Keith Cook, Manager of Sports Medicine and Special Events at Atrium Health! Keith has been a teammate for 19 years and oversees event medicine at Atrium Health Ballpark.
Fellow teammate Tri Tang said, “Keith is too humble to brag on himself, but he has saved many lives on the job. The most recent one was during a COVID-19 vaccine event where he found a gentleman in cardiac arrest. He continues to serve the community as well as help the hospital prepare for COVID-19 response. He is an all-around great person and leader”
