Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
A big shout out to our South Division Officers and Publix.
CMPD teamed up with Publix for their Torch Icon Campaign benefiting the Special Olympics of NC. Officers met with an athlete, raising hundreds of dollars for the Special Olympics. Way to go!
You can take part too by visiting your local Publix through the 16th and donating to the Special Olympics.
