The Charlotte men's tennis team has announced the addition of five-star recruit Aditya Narayanan as the second piece of Head Coach Kyle Bailey's 2022 signing class.
"Aditya is a fighter, who plays with a lot of energy and passion and that will allow him to fit in incredibly well with our team heading into this season," Head Coach Kyle Bailey said. "One of our goals has been to recruit the best players we can from the state of North Carolina and we believe Aditya is a prime example of the type of player we want to continue to bring into our program."
A native of Cary, North Carolina, Narayanan is the first-ever five-star recruit in the history of Charlotte men's tennis and is the first player to sign with the Niners to rated among the top-60 in their respective signing class.
As a junior player, Narayanan earned a career-high national ranking of 40 and was rated in the top-25 in the US from the age groups of 12 through 16.
He also won a pair of National Titles at the Level Three flight and was a stud in the classroom, graduating from Laurel Springs High School with a 4.3 GPA, while taking 10 AP classes.
Narayanan joins Ivan Dreycopp as a part of CLT's 2022 class and will enroll this Fall with four full years of eligibility.
