6th Annual Promise Holiday Cheer Christmas Party | Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department
Promise Youth Development, Inc held its 6th Annual Promise Holiday Cheer Christmas party last week at the Recreation Center on Albemarle Road.
Christmas gifts and a hot meal were given to the youth and their families in the east Charlotte community.
Several Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers serve as mentors to many of the youth enrolled in Promised Youth Development’s free mentoring program. The non-profit provides anti-violence, education and wellness programs throughout the year for boys and girls ages 8-18. The relationships built between our officers and the wonderful young people taking part in this great program are priceless!
