Charlotte Communication & Marketing on Friday launched the City of Charlotte's new City Speaks newsletter. The newsletter is a creative channel that will inform and engage all Charlotte residents.

The digital newsletter will be distributed monthly. In it, readers will find the latest information on city initiatives, services, events and programs, and other relevant, trending topics about America's Queen City.

Charlotte's continued growth creates more opportunities to build awareness and to connect residents with the information they need. The first edition of the newsletter features:

  • The Charlotte City Council's latest efforts and strategies to address local housing and workforce development needs.

  • A look back at crime statistics and public safety trends in 2022.

  • Emerging insights on the state of arts and culture in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

  • Recent investments in rapidly changing corridors to revitalize communities and to help long-time residents stay in place if they choose.

Residents can subscribe to the monthly newsletter now at publicinput.com/cityspeaks. Content will be mobile-friendly for subscribers to enjoy from anywhere, on any device.
