CHARLOTTE FIREHOUSE 1 FEATURE: Protecting the Queen City starts with the crews at Firehouse 1. Originally the headquarters for Charlotte, Firehouse 1 moved to a building attached to City Hall in 1925, but is now in a state of the art facility which is also home to our communication team. Protecting the uptown area is a huge task from sky-rises to tucked away homes, and Firehouse 1 gets the job done.
