If you can’t beat the stereotype, feed it!
The idea of the donut-loving cop dates back to the days after World War II, when late-night food was slim and the sweet snack benefitted overnight officers and donut shop owners alike.
The stereotype might be a bit stale, but Charlotte’s donuts are anything but. New to the Charlotte donut scene, @donutnvcharlottenc1 was at CMPD headquarters this morning and we couldn’t pass on this photo opportunity.
