The Carolina Panthers opted to rest several key veterans ahead of their upcoming trip to Germany. On Wednesday, nine players were absent from practice as the team prepares for a game against the Giants. Six of these absences were attributed to non-injury-related rest.

Among those resting were Jadeveon Clowney, who also has a knee issue, A'Shawn Robinson, Chuba Hubbard, Josey Jewell, Xavier Woods, who is dealing with a shoulder concern in addition to his rest designation, and Jaycee Horn.

Three players missed practice due to other reasons: Ikem Ekwonu is dealing with an ankle injury, Adam Thielen has a hamstring issue, and DeShawn Williams was out due to illness.

Safety Jammie Robinson returned on a limited basis after missing three games because of a knee injury. Safety Lonnie Johnson was also limited in practice due to quadriceps concerns.

All other roster members participated fully in Wednesday's session.
