Quarterback Bryce Young expressed the team's frustration, stating, "I mean, I'm not big on comparing, not big on looking back. But I'm a competitor. We all are. It's not a fun place to be...You know, it definitely, definitely hurts."

The game featured two missed field goals by Eddy Piñeiro and a crucial fumble by Chuba Hubbard. The defense struggled against the run, allowing 236 yards on the ground. Additionally, the Panthers only converted one out of four red zone opportunities into touchdowns.

Head coach Dave Canales emphasized the need for better execution: "The story of the day, just we've got to control the things that we can control...We've got to take care of the ball at the end right there."

Right guard Robert Hunt shared his thoughts on missing chances: "These ones, these hurt...Obviously, I thought we were the better team tonight...It sucks because we're trying to do something special."
