Tre Boston, a former Carolina Panthers player, is set to return to Bank of America Stadium this weekend as the Legend of the Game. During his visit, he will participate in the tradition of hitting the Keep Pounding drum before the fourth quarter.

Boston was originally drafted by the Panthers in 2014 as a fourth-round pick from North Carolina. Reflecting on his career, he shared thoughts on Bill Belichick potentially coaching at North Carolina: "If they go get Bill, that means you're invested. Like we're a football school, it's going to be wild."

Boston's early years with the Panthers were marked by significant achievements, including a 15-1 season and an appearance in Super Bowl 50. He made notable plays such as sacking Russell Wilson and intercepting Carson Palmer during playoff games. After leaving for stints with the Chargers and Cardinals, Boston returned to the Panthers for two more seasons in 2019 and 2020.

In retirement, Boston has been active in broadcasting and entertainment. He spoke about his observations of the current Panthers team: "I see guys who are banding together... Bryce, coming off of being benched, has looked amazing." He noted improvements in team dynamics and accountability.

Recalling memorable moments from his playing days, Boston highlighted a Thanksgiving game against Dallas in 2015: "That Dallas game gave us so much publicity... it put the world on notice." He described the camaraderie within the team during successful periods: "Your locker room feels truly like a brotherhood."

Boston also reflected on playing alongside Luke Kuechly, who is now a Hall of Fame semifinalist: "Attention to detail... preparation like no other. Unselfish." Despite not focusing on physical attributes, Boston emphasized Kuechly's athletic prowess.

Returning to finish his career with the Panthers held personal significance for Boston: "It meant the world to come back to where all of your memories [are]." He expressed appreciation for reconnecting with familiar faces and contributing to community events.

Discussing Sam Mills' legacy and its impact on current players, Boston said: "We weren't privileged enough to have Sam Mills... but we were privileged enough to have Sam Mills III." The Keep Pounding mantra remains integral to team culture.

Boston's ongoing connection with the Panthers highlights his enduring bond with both teammates and fans. As he participates in upcoming festivities at Bank of America Stadium, he continues to embody the spirit of Keep Pounding.
