Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) and Levy, the food and beverage partner for Spectrum Center, have announced a collaboration with Rare Roots Hospitality, a Charlotte-based restaurant group. This partnership is part of the Re!magine Spectrum Center project aimed at enhancing guest experiences throughout the arena. The collaboration will introduce new menu offerings and culinary showcases featuring homegrown Carolina flavors.

Donna Julian, Executive Vice President & Chief Venues Officer of Hornets Sports & Entertainment, stated, "We are thrilled to partner with the Rare Roots team to offer some really magnificent culinary experiences to our guests at Spectrum Center." She emphasized the focus on providing a high-quality and diverse food experience that reflects community tastes.

The partnership will feature select dishes from Rare Roots restaurants available in concession and premium areas at Hornets games and other events. Some highlighted offerings include Rob’s Hot Pastrami Sandwich from Joan’s Bakery & Deli and Prime Rib Sandwich from Dressler’s. New items will be introduced throughout the year through various activations, including guest chef appearances.

Rare Roots Hospitality Owners Kim and Jon Dressler expressed their excitement about joining this initiative. "It's an honor to be a part of Re!magine Spectrum Center and bring a taste of our restaurants to the arena," they said.

Andy Lansing, CEO of Levy, added, “We’re excited to come to the table with HSE and Rare Roots to draw up an incredible gameplan for the next era of Spectrum Center hospitality.” The collaboration aims to celebrate Charlotte's culinary creativity with new signature offerings for fans.
