Charlotte FC is preparing to host FC Cincinnati in an Eastern Conference match at Bank of America Stadium. The game, scheduled for Saturday, March 15, will see Charlotte FC debut their new "Back in Black" kit inspired by their home venue.

The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be viewed on the MLS Season Pass via Apple TV. Fans can also listen to the game on WFNZ 92.7 FM in English and WOLS 106.1 FM in Spanish.

Both teams are eager to capitalize on early-season momentum with a head-to-head record that stands evenly at 2-2-2. Charlotte FC aims to maintain its undefeated home streak against Cincinnati.

In recent matches, Charlotte lost 1-0 to Inter Miami CF, while Cincinnati suffered a 3-1 defeat against Tigres UNAL in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Charlotte's defensive discipline will be crucial against Cincinnati's counter-attacks led by midfielder Evander and top scorer Kevin Denkey. The team plans to exploit wide areas using players like Wilfried Zaha and Liel Abada.

Head Coach Dean Smith emphasized the importance of converting opportunities: “We need to make the most of the chances we get... [last match] we had balls over the top, balls down the sides, played through them at times as well, [but] we didn’t work the goalkeeper enough.”

On another note, Patrick Agyemang and Tim Ream from Charlotte FC have been named to the United States Men's National Team for the Concacaf Nations League Finals under Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Additionally, Charlotte FC has signed Souleyman Doumbia from Standard Liège on loan until December 31, 2025. Doumbia reunites with former teammate Djibril Diani and joins forward Wilfried Zaha as part of Ivory Coast's national team alumni.
